In this six-week course, you will prepare for the AKC Canine Good Citizen title requirements. This is a great course to solidify your dog’s skill for being an exemplary member of society, regardless of testing for the title! For individuals interested in therapy work with your dog, this is a great way to start your journey of developing solid behaviors. Most therapy organizations require passing a CGC test to become a member. If your dog falls under breed specific legislation (BSL), receiving your CGC will qualify your dog to become a breed ambassador! This allows them to go in public without wearing a muzzle (certain criteria is required). Dogs must already have some basic skills; this is not a class for the initial learning phase of the included requirements.
